46 well-appointed guest accommodation are built
along 17 acres of terraced hillside and use indigenous
materials in an innovative Balinese design, tastefully
combining old and new.
The
five (5) Sayan Suites and thirteen (13)
Terrace Suite are ideally located in the
central building. The remaining 28 villas are
all free standing with spacious gardens and are
spread throughout the verdant rice fields and
rolling hillside. The villas include private plunge
pools and afford total privacy with imposing views
of the river valley.
All
accommodations feature custom-made furnishings
from Java and Bali and the resort fabrics are
hand-loomed, dyed and woven locally. All the furniture
in the villas has been selected to complement
the villa design and art enthusiasts praise the
skillful selection of art and artifacts.

accented with rich teak and Balinese natural stone
this suite is entered through a tiled foyer. To
one side of the foyer is a comfortable sitting
area, dining table and bathroom as well as an

The Gallery at Sayan features over 1,600 square feet
(150 square meters) of retail space offering high quality
homeware items, textiles, clothing and antique artwork.
The Spa Shop offers a fine selection of aromatic oils,
essential oils, bath salts, soaps, incense, natural
body care formulations, spa robes and sandals, accessory
items, logowear and sportswear. The Lobby Boutique displays
an interesting selection of jewellery items, small antique
artifacts and locally-woven fabrics.
RESTAURANT:
The Resort has two restaurant - Ayung Terrace and River
Side Cafe, one bar and 24-hour room service.
THE
SPA :
The Spa's well-appointed exercise facility offers
a 180 degree view of the valley with state-of-art fitness
equipment. All four of the spacious treatment room include
sinks and cabinets; three rooms also include bathtubs,
one treatment room contains two beds for double massages.
Programs include aromatherapy, reflexology, and traditional
Balinese massage with a focus on elements from the earth
such as clay, mountain botanicals and warming spices.
In-suite/villa massage available upon request. The beauty
treatment salon offers facials, manicures and pedicures.
Male and female locker rooms feature a sauna and steam
bath. Open from 6 a.m -9 p.m.

Endless outdoor activities abound in this area including
trekking, cycling, river rafting, kayaking, nature walks
and bird watching. Ideally positioned beside the river
is a large infinity-edge, kidney-shaped swimming pool

Guests can enjoy the Resort's extensive collection of
books, compact discs, video cassette tapes and games
in the well appointed facility or for enjoyment in suites
or villas. The Library & Lounge is also available
for guests with late flight departures or early morning
arrivals. Showers and charge facilities are available
next door in the Health Club & Spa. Three is also
a secure for hand luggage and bags. Open from 6 a.m..-10
