HOTEL TJAMPUHAN

It pictures yourself on a long balcony, perched high over a tropical ravine. imagine pathaways clinging to a hillside where the hibiscuc and frangipani reach out over statues and wood carvings touch a gentle greetings as you pass.

Butterflies, birdsong, fragnant blossoms, colourful plumage, nightsongs of frogs and Blingking firefiels interwoman with secluded villas & bungalows extend into a world of exuberant Balinese culture & nature.

Picture yourself thus, and you might just feel the first light brush stroke of the spirit that is

In this one hotel are captured all the images of Ubud, the cultural center of Bali.

Plunge into the cool waters of a pool hewn out of the rock face, and surface to see your Room boy heading down with breakfast.

Cast your mind back to fifty years before, when Walter Spies founded and artist colony and constructed the first dwellings in this divine place. The hearth of the Tjampuhan Hotel is the former home of Walter Spies, offering comfort and seclusion with excellent facilities, supplemented by a chioce of air-conditioned or fan cooled rooms. See the Walter Spies Room. Our "RAJA" rooms are lardger than "AGUNG" rooms both type of rooms are using the bamboo and antique wood carving furniture. All rooms have private bath with hot & cold shower, sailing fan / AC in the room, large veranda.

Return the smile of a waiters as she glides under the vaulted ceilings of a Restaurant seemingly floating on a cascade of lily ponds. Hope on the Hotel 's free shuttle bus visit Ubud's many shops and galleries of modern and traditional Balinese paintings or take in a dance and drama performance.

Experience the delight of a culture intent upon the beautiful and divine. Back at the hotel , sample delicious international and Balinese cuisine at the terrace restaurant and bar. Relax in the library and swim in one of the two spring-fed pools.

Restaurant, located near the lobby, is open until 10 AM and Bar until 12 PM. Afternoon coffee break, for group upon request, Gala royal dinner, venue : Puri Saren Agung, upon request.
